Chinese
Christian Fellowship Church began in 1965
as a Christian Student Center for international
University students. In 1971, the Center formally
organized as a church, called "Chinese for
Christ". In 1988, after previous locations
in Morton Grove and three different sites in
Chicago, we moved with our new name to our newly
constructed church in Wilmette. The English
Congregation began in 1989 with about twenty
members, and God has blessed this congregation
each year with continual growth.
We are
a non-denominational church. Our Elders, Deacons,
and Pastoral Staff compose our
Church Board and all major decisions are voted
upon by our entire congregation. We desire to
worship God, to promote the edification of the
saints, and to spread globally the love of God.
Our
worship focuses on Biblical, expository
preaching, contemporary and traditional worship,
and a commitment to a spirit of fellowship.
We
celebrate Holy Communion once a month, and all
duly baptized Christians are welcome to partake
of the Lords Supper with us.
